So I created this pattern by chance. This weekend, I could not decide wether I should crochet a Pokemon or an Halloween ornament. Then, this funny idea came : what about a Weedle living in a pumpkin pie ? So here is my Weedle in a Pumpkin pie or HalloWeedle as someone called it when I first published the pictures on Facebook.

Sew the pumpkin hole to the main body with the right side inside the hole.
Use the back loop of the body stitches to keep your sewing invisible
16/ [2sc dec] x 9 (27)
17/ [sc dec] x 9 (18) stuff : insert your finger inside the tube and fill the pumpkin with fiber around it (the tube must not stick to the pumpkin sides)
18/ sc x 9 (9)
Cut a very long tail.
With a needle weave through stitches on last row and pull tight to close, secure with a stitch
Insert your needle in the center from the top to bottom through the pumpkin : keep your finger inside the hole to avoid your needle going through the tube, pull tight and repeat 4 times around the pumpkin to create the bumps.
